History of Cavaliers
Also referred to as Cavaliers, this friendly little breed can trace its roots back to British royalty in the 17th century. King Charles I and his son King Charles II adored these little lap dogs and were rarely seen without them. The king and his son were spotted taking them to Parliament. Supporters for King Charles I were known as "Cavaliers" - thus the Cavalier King Charles name was born.
Why I breed
I am an occasional breeder. I only breed a healthy litter when I need a dog for showing at dog shows. Prior to breeding a litter both parents are extensively health tested including an expensive MRI to check for syringomyelia. All breeding parents have passed their health tests.
My Cavaliers are raised in the house with other Cavaliers. They are allowed on the furniture and sleep in beds if they choose. I have a large fenced in backyard which they love. My vet is a personal friend that is on speed dial. I spare no expense for the health and happiness of my Cavaliers.
